A MillerKnoll summer intern used to piece together everything — policies, resources, who to email, how to network — from scattered PDFs and inboxes. MK Intern Connect puts it all in one Teams conversation: grounded answers, drafted emails, an employee directory, and a CoffeeChat feature that auto-schedules the networking coffees that make an internship stick.
How it’s built.
An intern-facing agent in Teams, grounded in five MillerKnoll intern documents. A multi-agent design: two child agents — CoffeeChat (schedules intern coffee runs via Outlook) and Intern Question Generator — plus three tools: Outlook email drafting, Work IQ Copilot MCP for M365 search, and Work IQ User MCP for the employee directory.

Grounded onboarding knowledge
Answers policy and process questions from five vetted intern documents rather than the model’s general knowledge — the same grounded discipline the portfolio runs on, aimed at onboarding.
Connectors do the connecting
Email drafting, M365 search, the employee directory, and coffee scheduling are each a reusable connector — so “connect me with a peer” becomes a real action, not just advice.
Networking, automated
The CoffeeChat child agent turns “I should meet more people” into scheduled coffees on the calendar — the highest-value, least-self-serviceable part of an internship.
