The opportunity
The friction of an internship’s first weeks is a scavenger hunt: policies in one PDF, resources in another, the right person to email somewhere in a directory, and networking left entirely to the intern. All of it competes with actually doing the work.
What AISE built
MK Intern Connect puts it in one Teams conversation. It answers policy and process questions grounded in five MillerKnoll intern documents, drafts professional intro emails (always as a draft for review), looks people up in the employee directory, and hands off to two child agents — one that schedules coffee chats via Outlook, and one that helps interns generate thoughtful questions for meetings and 1:1s.
The benefit to the business
The parts of an internship that are hardest to self-serve — especially networking — become easy: “I should meet more people” turns into scheduled coffees on the calendar. Built by Anna St. Clair as an intern build, it’s live in Production for the summer program.
